Practice Reading With Early Readers

Early readers are books with selected sight and phonetic words that are specific for the early reading level. With early readers, children can practice reading without getting frustrated by too many difficult words. When they can read most of the words in a book, children will feel a sense of accomplishment and will be encouraged to read more.

I have combined two of my favourite things: my passion for teaching children to read and write and my love of cats. I've put them together and came up with a cute early reader book for young children. 

Show People the Mercy that Was Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him)

As a Muslim I am saddened and heartbroken that anyone could ridicule and denigrate our beloved Prophet Muhammad (s). I don't need to see the pictures nor do I want to, it is the mere thought that anyone could be so mean-hearted and narrow minded towards our Prophet (s). When they do so, it is like they are insulting our parents but 100 times more so.

How should we react? Should we insult them back? What would we be teaching our children? The answer comes from Prophet Muhammad (s) himself.

One Way to Improve Your Relationships

Do you want to improve your relationships with people - whether it be your parents, spouse, children, friends, acquaintances or just people you meet every day? 

One way to improve your relationships is to show appreciation and be thankful to that person. When you do this the person will feel acknowledged and valued. In return they will be more giving, loving and open to you.
